There have been a number of recent popular fads I've desperately been trying to avoid. New 'things', 'ideas' and 'ideologies' that seem 'dark' and 'scary' - like BoyZone on their first Late Late Show appearance! 'Social' and 'technological' things that have attracted the drooling masses. Droves of them! Almost everyone. Seeking the acceptance, stature and comfort that only peers can offer.
Podcasts, web2.0 and Bebo - "they lead the way", "they blaze the trail", "Follow or fail"...
So for the next few days I'm going to join the herd, embrace the collective, follow the learned shepards and reconcile with the common man. I'll let you know how I get on...
